Liberals will never have a comeback to that. It forever ruins their argument in these matters.

Does Twitter get subsidies? Or operate as an official government conduit?
lol, obviously so? Twitter hosts official pages for elected officials so that they can communicate with the country, and as such making them a de facto governmental artery to the public. Likewise, a major problem is their TOS and moderation is implemented in a highly arbitrary manner, which serves no-one but people with certain political ideals. There are already carve outs in § 230 which permit liability for the company if a third party posts certain things (sex work related stuff, illegal, etc). So by your reasoning you think this "private business" should also be allowed to host posts of these aforementioned prohibited things.
But on the strength of federal antitrust laws alone Big Tech should be more regulated, and there should be bipartisan support and sky screaming to reel this sector in.

Ah, the tolerant left. We want the same for everyone as long as it's what we want.

I quit reading fb. I have a Twitter account but haven't used it in a couple of years. Signed up for parler, but never used it. Just tired of that type of social media.

So, the Parler movement wasn't real? I read about it on FB, Twitter and TD. Educate me.

Not possible. You’re already the smartest and wittiest person in the world.
Clearly.

you the public don't like what a private company is legally doing, for fricks sakes stop using that company.
Seems like a great plan during cancel culture

I'm clearly the opposite you wrote. I'm simply asking about the so called monopoly Roger mentioned when since November, an estimated 70-100M users were leaving for another uncensored platform. That's a monopoly buster.
Was it all conjecture and Hope? Just say I have it all wrong and what is going on.

Have you read your posts in this thread? Clearly no one is as witty and educated as you. I was obviously mistaken.

Yes, all hope and conjecture. And had nothing at all to do with the companies that have previously been mentioned as monopolies coordinating efforts to keep it from happening.

You’re the smartest and wittiest person here. Not possible for you to have something wrong.

Twitter and Amazon appear to have engaged in anti-trust behaviors. It seems they coordinated to eliminate a competitor, which led to an investigation. But please continue to play ignorant.

Look, not sure why you're buttsore. I replied to a comment some say this is capitalism. But now, it's monopolistic. I respond with how I've seen 10's of millions defy the monopoly. Since then - in classic OT style - those claims just go on as lore. No real discussion. Guys here say it so others have to upvote it and tell a friend.
So, Open My Eyes, Sir. It's an open forum.

Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, claiming the Republican used his office to retaliate against it for banning the account of former President Donald Trump following the riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Well, that will go nowhere.
