I know from my conversations with women of color. Thats how I know. Read up on it; womens suffrage and its movement was for white women, and white women first.

How we devalue and depreciate the contributions of black arts to our modern pop culture, in particular, contributions from women of color.
How women of color have physical features that are adorned and beloved by all people...when its not on their bodies.
How our standards of beauties are crippling and demeaning to young women of color, and reinforce the perception that their beauty and lives dont matter. Its really the reason why we shout #blacklivesmatter.
Honestly, Caitlyn Jenner has spoken out more for (trans)women of color more than Taylor Swift has. Thats a fact

Blacks kill blacks, blacks sell drugs to black = blacks go to jail at disproportionally higher rates than their counterparts.
Its disingenious to say we arent actively trying to fix ourselves and that we dont make massive strides and improvements everyday
