If you are changing out sinks, showers, toilets, mirrors, new wet rock, etc. It could easily get to $40,000 depending on the quality of the work and materials wanted.

That's outrageous. I just totally redid my master bath. Frameless custom shower from custom accents, freestanding porcelain tub, cabinets, quartz, herringbone subway tiles from floor to ceiling on 2 walls, paint, hardware, marble tile floors, faucets, mirrors, toilet, multiple showerheads, etc.

Didn't sniff 40k. I spent close to 20k.

$40K for a small bathroom seems high as hell for normal pricing. My parents remodeled 2 small bathrooms and their kitchen earlier this year and I think it was a little over $50K total
