I don't like mint juleps either. The best one I ever had tasted like Scope. Come to think of it, the worst one did, too.

Well that's pretty much what it is. Add a couple mint leaves and a touch of simple syrup and you're good to go. Always tastes better in the copper mugs though.

ran out of jd s-barrel yesterday..that's some darn good jack...don't know if i can go back to ole #7...i have a bottle of russell's reserve someone gave me. i'll give it a taste tonight....frick a m-julep, those things sound sickening.
