This storm sorta reminds me of nate a few years back. It barely hit LA then just made the last second turn. Plaquemines parish couldn't even tell you nate did anything to them there.

As you'd expect, the GFS ensemble suite moved west in tandem with the operational. Stronger storms weighted to the eastern side of the run. Universally though, all tracks are now confined to a LA landfall.

The storm will not make it that far west before that front grabs it.

It seems there's a very good chance Zeta has its top torn off and weakens as it approaches the coast while MS and AL get the worst of it.
