Are these kids (more specifically the lazy fat parents who live vicariously through their kids) too lazy to organize a car wash or something?

Sitting on the side of the road, asking for money ‘just because’ is just arrogant and lazy. I’d gladly get my car washed or buy some cookies, but I choose not to donate because of sheer laziness of the parents. Also, trashy AF.

You found a unicorn. The rest just set up a gofundme and play fortnite while the funds accumulate.

If you have enough money to put your kids in travel ball, you should have enough money to put them in the next tournament. If you don't, they shoudln't be in travel ball. It's not like little Jayxonn is playing anything past HS ball anyway.

Agree. If kids want money do something tangible for it.

Wash cars, cut grass, sell jambalaya dinners or something.

The handouts are socialist bullshite.

Yes they should be washing cars, selling BBQ plate lunches and hamburgers. Not just beg for money.

These kids are getting ready for the World Series in their respective classification. They can't be expected to participate in strenuous activity outside of practice. Take pride in knowing that you may be helping a kid win another ring.

At least you can sleep well at night knowing you helped stock the shelves of some JV program someday.

My son played for Bullet here in Lake Charles. Kids and parents signed contracts before season, no begging was one of the rules. We could organize a "fund raiser" if we provided a service(bake sell, wash cars, etc). We never did. If parents cant afford it, don't do it.
Why should someone else pay for your child's needs?

I’ve noticed this recently with my nephews. His school (same one I graduated from) made him get a list of email addresses from family and alumni so they could hit you up for donations. It’s lazy, at least sell me a candy bar or something. Make the kid walk door to door like we had to.

But they don’t only have to pay their way to one of the 10,000 “World Series,” they also need a 8’x8’ banner of the whole team mean mugging in their flat bills with a thunderstorm in the background.

No longer the case. Kids these days have moved on up from the ole classic bat bag to a book sack
