Have you even considered saying No to this tournament?

A soccer tournament? Why? Can’t you fly?

at EVERY game. Wait till you get to the Courtyard by Marriott tonight, you aint seen nothing yet. Mark my words, with about 70% certainty, there will be a marriage end within the next year and a half over something that happens between parents/coaches.

That is crazy

Yeah, no. We must have been lucky bc we were a pretty damn good AAA/majors team from 8-12.

The game itself sucked, my boy has played on a majors team for his entire little career. I have not seen one single team play instinctual baseball. As Tony Robichaux said, the travel/select model is broken. Defending it is a dumb argument. There are more and more foreigners playing MLB and fewer Americans. You let my boy and his basket of rings go up against a team of Dominicans or Puerto Ricans...they will chew his arse up and spit him out

Disclaimer: No child possessing my DNA will ever make a nickel playing a sport. We are very average people, except for speed...where we are below average.

team of Dominicans

We actually went down to the DR a few years ago and played those teams. I know first hand how good they are. We played 3 different DR teams and the shite we saw and the things I would tell you would blow your mind. Very eye opening experience for all of us.

We did PR the year before. Thinking about back to the PR or Miami this summer.

He is 10, playing 11u. He is an April baby. This is our 4th year.

I got sucked in, thinking he was missing out as we had a mass exodus from our Dixie association to travel.

Our team has avoided major drama, but there is turnover every year, as it is for everyone. Our coach is fair, to the kids in my opinion, and my son has progressed, but he is only recently playing the game more free. This morning he stole third on his own, I was so proud of that I didn't know what to do. He is not exceptionally fast, but is getting better and better on the bases.

He is a good little player, but not a dominant player, offensively he is better than average.

I cant imagine rolling his group out in the Dominican, I would love it, but I dont know if the moms could handle it

We had the same team from 7-12. After 12 all the kids spilt up and go separate ways. We all did Cooperstown together, we had a great group of kids and parent.

After that we joined a summer league and that’s who we went to PR and DR with. He’s in high school now and we’ve already played 4 games of a 35 game schedule. It’s fun to watch them develop and play at a higher level.

I kinda hope his group wants to do the Cooperstown thing next year. I hear it is fun.

Bruh let me tell you. If you have a good group of boys and most if not all the parents get along it’s the best. We had a blast. Our boys, all the siblings and the parents and coaches would do it all over again. We went with another team and our kids and parents all knew each other it made it even that much better.

If y’all have a chance to go, I’m telling you go. You won’t regret it

I just looked it up. We better get on it quick! It is pretty pricey, but seems doable.

How would a ref know anything about baseball?
