I figured you were one of the frantic lane swervers by your first post.

Everyone leaves a small gap between the car in front of them. The problem are drivers like you that decide to squeeze your arse into this space which causes all other cars behind you to slow down to maintain gaps.

Calm your nerves and drive like a normal person who doesn't have constant panic disorders. Your day will go much better and you won't be putting everyone else at risk.

Thats not the kind of lane jumper that I am. I said 1 car length is fine, I am jumping lane to lane because of the all the people that have 50ft-100ft in front of them when traffic moves a little and are still doing 30 in a 60. So yeah, when I have 1hr to 1-1/2hr commute each way, everyday...these folks on their phones, doing makeup, etc. And not paying attention leaving gaps are forcing me to jump from lane to lane just so I can do the actual speed limit and get to office or home somewhat efficiently.
