I was working outside of St. Louis and was headed to the airport this morning to catch my flight. Before I left, a wreck happened on the bridge that crosses the Mississippi River around 8:30. Distraught and knowing the back up that a wreck on the new bridge causes in BR I was expecting to miss my flight.

Instead google maps took me to one of the other 2 bridges that have interstates crossing the MS river and got me to the airport with plenty of time.

Man it was nice. BR, get your shite together

St Louis was rated as the best traffic situation among the top 20 metro areas in the country.

There are a lot of surface street options, the streets are gridded, there are multiple bridges for the people that need to cross the river, there is a good interstate system.

Traffic can still be an issue sometimes, but it's way better than what I dealt with when I lived in Louisiana.

Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and NOLA were all more ridiculous to deal with than what I've dealt with since I moved up here.
