Notice to inform the public, that a large piece of equipment, shown in the photo below, will be transported into Shell’s Norco Manufacturing Complex, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12th. The process involves a large, slow moving vehicle that will be escorted by the Louisiana State Police. The vehicle will travel eastbound on Airline Highway throughout the day with a planned arrival at our facility between 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Upon arrival, the vehicle will turn south onto Prospect Road and then into Shell’s Gate P6. We anticipate full delivery of this equipment into the site by 5:00pm.
The equipment is currently located at the Amelia waterfront facility in Morgan City and will depart that location at 8am in the morning. It will make its way to LA-3127 then turn onto LA-3213 and cross the Gramercy Bridge. It will then turn onto Airline Hwy and make the 19.1 mile trip to the site. Traffic on the eastbound lanes of Airline Highway, and lanes in both directions on Prospect Road will be impacted at some point during this process.
If you experience any issues, please contact our Site Team Lead at 504-465-7342.

They moved an entire unit through Westlake one night. People lined up to see it like it was Mardi Gras. Crazy what they can do.

Would have loved to have landed a job doing Logistics for them. They have some incredible world class machinery.

You may be right.
I worked with both of them moving stuff all good guys. Mammoet had these strand Jack's that skid platforms onto a barge, very slow, but nothing stopped them till the safety man's son in law put diesel in the hydraulic tank of the HPU..... one of only 3 in the world. They shut down them real quick.
