The real answer?
Its time to put on her big girl panties and find her hustle.
If he ghosted her she can do all she wants but all it will do is make her bitter and her children unhappy, it's not going to suddenly make him motivated to be a responsible dad. She needs to write him off and focus on providing for her children and herself. I did it without asking for help, and she can too. just has to have the desire more than the excuse. I'm stubborn AF and no way was anyone ever going to be able to say anything about me being one of those women who have to have someone take care of them. It's his loss, but if she keeps chasing a ghost, it'll be hers too.
Her dad (my nephew) more or less gave her the same advice, to move on with her life, find someone that cares about her and the kids, forget about trying to track that a-hole down. Even if she happens to find him, she probably won't get anything from him.

Short version.. She got him on abandonment. They got into over finances and other stuff, he packed his shite up and bolted.

This is all dependent on her having a judgment where he is ordered to pay support.
LOL. Are you implying there are judgements otherwise in this country?

Damn some of y'all have trashy family. I have plenty of N LA redneck family, but none of them are trashy as hell. I can't believe some of you live like this.
A) it's not his family, it's an ex-in-law

Set up a dating profile with a fake pic listing all of the things she KNOWS he likes.
There are so many other ways to find him that would be 1000x more effective. In today's world it's nearly impossible to stay off the radar and lead a normal life. There are plenty of background search site she can use to find him, there's almost a 100% chance he's used his SSN at some point recently either for a new car, housing, a job, etc. Any of those things will show up someplace.
I agree with the 2nd poster that LexisNexis is the first place to look. If she can't afford even doing that, most attorney's have the service and if she has an attorney friend they could probably run a search.
Also, if she knows her ex's SSN she could set up an account on Credit Karma and see if there have been any credit checks on him done recently that might narrow down where the POS is hiding.
