Power has been out here in northern gonzales since the storms hit about 10:10. Had about 1 minute of heavy winds and non stop lightening strikes and some kind of transformers/lines popped across the street. Night is going to suck with no ac.

Had no idea all this was coming, just drove from my parents in St. Amant to my house in Walker. It was probably the worst weather I have driven through. I had to roll 25 half the time and still had trouble seeing the lines.

That lightning was maybe the closest to the War of the Worlds storm that I've ever seen. The sky was lit for several minutes continously.

Thunder from down under scared the shite out of my dog. One thunder noise went on for like 30 seconds straight and shook my house.
