We’re getting a glimpse of the damage in Jefferson City. This is the second floor of the only 24-hour daycare in JC. The owner says children and caregivers were in this room when the tornado hit. You can see children’s clothes hanging in what used to be a closet

Why isn’t Weather Channel having BREAKING COVERAGE of this? I’d understand Fox and CNN not having it but Weather Channel If anyone can provide links to live coverage please do so.

I am here at Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. As you can see, there is debris all along here coming from the building here. Jeff Marsh, security guard, says there are 100+ injured between here and St. Mary’s Hospital. @KOMUnews

is any of this near Springfield, Mo.?
I'm just thinking of the softball teams playing in the NAIA Softball World Series there right now... and that I very well may have been there if the school/team I worked for had made it past their opening round last week

Has anyone mentioned the imminent dam breach in webbers falls Oklahoma? The town is currently being evacuated.

F-5 hitting a populated area at night.
That's literally THE nightmare when it comes to the idea of a tornado.

I have a lot of family in Jefferson City, thankfully it looks like they’re ok.

Is that a pic of this tornado?
That's a wall cloud, not a tornado. I'm sure some of these are the actual tornado, but the wall cloud is often mistaken for a tornado. You can see in that picture none of it is actually on the ground.

The state track meet has been postponed. Was supposed to be this weekend in Jeff City.
