That's crazy! hopefully the one southwest of Hattiesburg does not tighten up.

This Hattiesburg radar-indicated tornado looks like it could be pretty significant. There seems to be a well-defined hook showing up on radar.

that inflow notch looks really good unfortunately to feed the storm

I'm no expert, but it looks like a debris ball may be showing up as well.

That tornado is going to be on Hattiesburg in 15ish minutes and they haven't issued a warning including Hattiesburg yet.

Just issued the warning for Hattiesburg. Says it will be there around 3:40ish.

they need to issue a warning now that radar signature looks bad

Regardless of the severity, it is basically right on top of Hattiesburg now.

Twitter starting to report damage & debris scattered in Hattiesburg. Another possible tornado moving in. Looks to be just north of the first one's track.

Major bust for SE LA, no rain much less a rumble of thunder. Some might get out of this without any rain all weekend. And they had the hype machine going for SELA being the bullseye. Already took away the severe slight severe threat we had for tonight into early sunday.

IMO they fricked up. They had it right early yesterday with their outlook. Then they decided to expand the enhanced risk and throw in a hatched tor risk.
Hattiesburg police dept is damaged, fire dept may be destroyed.

My cousin goes to college in Hattiesburg, MS and her dorm room was hit by the tornado. The lobby is gone, but she's OK.
