Some houses are damaged in that area. Bunch of sirens and fire trucks around. I would stay off of Old Hammond until that's cleared up.

It just have really sucked to be sitting on Sherwood Forest traffic while a tornado approaches.

The in-laws live over on Belfort (the street across Old Hammond from the substation). My wife went by, the 2nd house from Old Hammond seems to have some damage to their carport but that looked to be about it for dwellings.

Power is, of course, out in the area while they get the substation back up and running.
