They can’t explain their views. They just know they are right but can’t actually explain why.

The more religious a person is the dumber they are.

It doesn't have to be rational when you're finding your answer for an unanswerable question. If you start by accepting you'll never truly know, then your faith is a choice for how you want to live your life and what helps you find peace. Mine has given me peace of mind and purpose in this life. It doesn't mean you throw it all out the window and shite on anyone who accepts it just because the chance it may be wrong.

Believing in the existence of a Creator and believing in a religion aren’t the same thing.

Explain how it’s rational to believe that everything came from nothing.

If you want to call it that, sure. But men have always called things they don't understand magic. I believe faith can be reconciled with physics, and mathematics is the language with which God wrote the universe

It's logical because most major religions have had traditions and teachings that have lasted for thousands of years. In my mind, that gives them much more credit than just saying religion is magic.

I'm not even really too religious, but I still find it easy to believe something started the universe, which our tiny minds can even begin to comprehend.
