I agree.
The end left me with more questions than answers though. So much they didn’t emphasize. The lies she told about being the children’s mother to bridesmaids, her father lying about how he was told about the other girl’s death. The recording devices, all the emails between them. I feel like there could be a whole series on this.
The guy’s head was crushed in. Parts of his skull were on the ground. There were holes in the Sheetrock, near the baseboard where they missed, meaning he was on the ground and they were still beating him with a brick and bat. She had zero marks on her neck, he had zero marks on his body, yet the victim’s whole head was destroyed.
It was overkill. You don’t do that to someone you’re defending yourself from.
How they got out is beyond me.

I have a good friend who works for the FBI and he’s stated there is a disproportionate number of psychopaths at the agency because they can lie their way through the interviews and polygraph tests.
Clearly they both believe the story they’re telling. The dad lied right to the camera more than once.

Makes sense, there’s not a lie they won’t tell to maintain their status quo. I think she probably did love the kids and did what she felt she had to do to keep them. Her mom saying she slept through it was pretty bizarre.

quote:Sadly, I think their scheme to slander their murder victim basically worked. Molly clearly had that in mind with her little hidden microphones and her dad's lie to generate suspicion around the death of Jason's first wife.
How they got out is beyond me.
BTW, I watched this with my wife and we both had a laugh at the recordings of "verbal abuse." I think Molly was hoping to capture something much worse than she did.

The show was good. They did a good job showing both sides of the story. With that said - she did it.
