Not a real city on the list. Small towns and suburbs.

Alexandria is a great place to be from...never going back again.

Natchitoches has a surprisingly high murder rate.
It is full of demons.

38 Ponchatoula
Full of white trash and thugs. Sure, you’ve got some good and honest people there. But i’God, you spend an hour or less at the Strawberry Festival, and you’re ready to leave. I remember hearing about a Ponchatoula murder was that a hooker setup a client to buy drugs from someone, and the drug deal went bad—client died.

Surprised Belle Chasse and River Ridge didn't make it.
River Ridge, like Metairie isn't a city

I would have expected to see Ponchy in the top 10.

Makes one wonder how many residents of these unsafe places participate in the NOLA is a shithole talk around here. Hmmm.

I didn't look them all up, but at least half of them have a population of less than 10,000.
Maybe not perception wise, but I'm pretty sure that technically speaking, anything over 2,500 population is considered a city. Smaller than that is a town. Really really tiny (like below 100 or something) is considered a "hamlet."
