My mom smoked Benson and Hedges 100s until she finally quit in 2015. She dodged cancer and COPD, but not the vascular dementia which ground her down over 8 1/2 years. If you're an adult it's your choice, just know what it's doing to you and to those who care about you.

Was there a difference in flavor between the box and soft pack? I was told this, but I don't know.
I smoke Newports... it's a huge difference you taste the box... I can only smoke soft packs... Newports King Shorts is the actual name

Smoked my last cig on Halloween night, 1997 (Marlboro Light 100's in the hard pack, thank you).
And to this day I still dream about the joys of smoking.

That’s not what I asked.
Let’s start again.
*What* is “trashy”? I’m not asking for an *example* of trashiness, I’m interested in you explaining the concept in itself.

Winston, Winston Lights, Camel Filters, and occasionally Bugler. (Always R.J. Reynolds brands. Never Phillip-Morris brands. I never liked the taste of Marlboros. All smoke but no flavor apart from the burning paper.)
I always preferred the soft pack rather than the box. They stayed fresh a little longer and it was somewhat therapeutic to peel open the foil on one side of the pack up to the blue paper across the middle and tap a single cigarette out from all the others.

I was in the Navy 73-83...I smoked what I could get my hands on. On the carrier you didn't have a lot of options. My go to cigarettes that I smoked the most were Kent's...
Anyone in the Navy back in the day could tell you.....The British sailors loved American cigarettes. When we were in dock with the British they'd buy you beers all night for a pack of cigarettes...They also traded their British cigarettes....Them things would kick your arse they were so strong.

I always smoked Camel Light and Marlboro Light 100's.
I used to have the worm hand hold my pack and light one for me when we were tripping pipe on a drilling rig. I was throwing chain and I didn't have time to light my own.
Worm hand smoked menthals.
