Isn't Joni Shreve in charge of that program?
Applied Statistics at LSU is headed by James Geaghan...
You might be thinking of the Analytics Program...that's like a Statistics Lite master's that works with Applied Statistics and ISDS I believe

"The final examination, worth a possible 200 points, will be comprehensive and will consist of an essay on the following theme: Why Germany lost and why it took the Allies so long to win."
Yeah I'm mostly using the textbook because I pretty much stopped taking notes. I'm going to try and incorporate some of the readings too because I want to keep my A in the class. I found this old thread that's kind of helpful.

It took the allies forever to win cause they needed 'Merica to bail their arse out of trouble.

Apparently back then Hilton told them to kind of focus on the comparative strengths and weaknesses of the Allies and the Germans. Around halfway through the thread or so, at least when they get to the final in December they're talking about strengths/weaknesses and what not.
If you have some notes you wouldn't mind sending my way let me know.

I didn't take notes this test because I didn't use them for the first two tests really. All I have is stuff from the German Military Intelligence lecture and even those aren't that great. I just hand write notes on the Lyon book which has helped me do well on the first two tests. So I can't really share much, if you don't want to send me some then it's cool.
