I THINK I figured it out.
Multiply each grade by it's weight %.. then add all those numbers and divide them by the possible % (ex: Final is worth 15% of my grade, so right now, that sum of those numbers is only out of 85).. and then see what you would need out of 100 to keep your grade.

Yea. Say you made an 85, 92 and 88 on exams. 40/50 30/50 on homeworks.
Finals worth 100 points. Total in the class is 500.
85+92+88+40+30 = 335
335/400 = 0.8375 x 100 = 83.75%
To keep your B you need to keep it over 80%.
So 500 x 0.80 = 400
400-335 = 65
65 is what you'd need to keep your B.
I'm really bored at work, as you can probably tell.

Perfect. Well, I can make like a 40% on the final ...
And even if I make a 100%, I won't go up a grade. So my stress has gone away.

Yea, that's how it usually works for me too.
I have no idea what I have going into my last final on Thursday because he's never given our labs back all semester. All I know I made is a 92 on the first exam and a 79 on the second. Class average on those were 75 and 61, so I'm not really worried.
