Germany never stood a chance on the eastern front, unless they got nukes developed.

The real turning point was the winter of ‘41 and getting thrown back before Moscow (Hitler’s fault mostly) but the Russians had a plan in that case too.

Stalingrad wasn’t even a Hail Mary. Just a prize mostly in name and for a madman’s ego. Poor intelligence never saw the hoardes of reinforcements Stalin had at his disposal, and morale especially in the allied armies guarding the flanks was abysmal by that point.

Yeah didn’t Russians welcome the Germans because they hated stalins regime? But they didn’t know the Germans would commit mass murder

Stalin wasn't popular. Especially in Ukraine seeing as he starved millions of them.
