This. It was the beginning of the end of MTVs glory days where you had actual music programming, mostly videos, and they did a good job of mixing up genres.

The stupid Real World crap ruined MTV. It used to be great to go home from school and watch the top 20 countdown.

The thing I like most about Gen X is we don't give a fvck. We dicked on our friends non-stop. You had to have tough skin. We took care of ourselves since our parents weren't home or honestly just wanted us out of the house even when they were home. Fights to settle childhood disputes..."community" Playboy magazines at the park...no social media to keep us in check. We had it pretty good growing up, but we also have had to work hard to get where we are now. I feel sorry for the generations after us and wish I could go back.

They are by far the worst demographic to assist when working in customer service.

Yeah I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree on that one….

Gen X

Creed, Nirvana, and Blink 182 are considered "divorced dad rock" now. In my day, it was Rush, Skynryd, and Zepplin.

The only thing I really remember from those shows is that Puck gave zero shits and the guy that died of aids was a self-righteous douchebag and everyone pretended he was a saint because he'd visited one bath house too many.

Wow, just gave me a flashback of doing my after school chores while "Up all night, sleep all day" blared on the TV.

Generation hatred is the stupidest thing. People are people. Every generation has a-holes and deadbeats. Every generation has great people also. Bitching about another generation shows more about the person bitching.
this

Also, just giving the cutesy nicknames for them instead of the years is confusing as hell
