It said nothing about legality which you tried to swerve when I mentioned Germany and Russia

I just feel like protesting does more harm than good. Major boomerang effect.

Back when a protest actually had meaning, maybe.

Now it's just glorified attention whoring. Gotta take selfies with the sign you made for your instagram and facebook.

Dissent is patriotic. Protest can be good or bad.

The right to protest is great, but leave your mask at home at keep your hands to yourself.

Political participation is the American activity that should be praised.

Civil protest “can” be a part of that activity.

The OP’s quote is just something that oppositionally-oriented people SAY to justify their questionable behavior. People who are resistant for the sake of being so are generally immature and often social outliers.

Our Freedom of Speech, and our additional rights from our creator (whether you believe in God or not, these are NOT man-made rights)…

including the right to redress grievances with the government... these are in fact, unique in the history of this planet, where toil, suffering and subjugation was the norm for, perhaps, 25,000 years...

however, protesting for seemingly the sake of protesting itself, seems to be the thing to do today by the deranged Left and Antifa/SJWs. Many of which would happily take my rights of free speech away. So no, frick them and their anti-American protesting.

That is insanity. What a load of horse shite.

How in the world did that cockeyed notion sneak into our collective conscience?

Disagree.

Yes, it's great to have the freedom to do things. That's what America is all about.

But sometimes just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I have the freedom to call my neighbor a fricking cu*nt. Doesn't mean I should.

When people are abusing the freedom and using is to cause a ruckus, harm others, and damage property (BLM, Antifa) then it becomes a bastardized version of what it was supposed to be.

NO! Like kneeling for a National Anthem over a narrative of police killing blacks that is statistically all but completely false.

Thus taking a moment of national togetherness and dividing the races over something that is untrue. Adding more fuel to a flame that has burned us far too long. Over a lie!

Such a protest is anti-American.
