I have a G-Shock thats about 5 years old that I have literally put through hell. It shows a good bit of wear, but its still ticking on the original battery.
I treated myself to a Luminox Recon a few months ago, and its now my everyday watch. Sapphire glass makes a huge difference. Cant go wrong with a G-Shock, though.

G-shock.. Can't beat it.. Wear it everyday working in the oilfield.

Ive had this one around 10yrs and its still on the original battery. Think it was around $45. Figured it was cheap enough to try out before I bought the G shock. Never did buy the G shock!
