Wut? You are able to reduce your taxable income while working and defer the income to retirement.

Are you serious, Clark?

Worse but we lost a bunch of deductions while the W2 went up in the mid-5 figures. Our refunds used to pay for my NFL season tickets & parking. This one is only paying for half of the tickets.

The state taxes this year were freaking obscene. FML for living in a deep blue state.

I hate that shite. End of February for a 1099? It's a good thing they are better for a trading platform than the bookkeeping. That is literally the only thing holding up my filing.

Mine were available from CS mid-January, online. But, I'm not OT rich, so

Given the fact he commits fraud on the regular, I'm sure his taxes are properly filed

Awesome, thanks for the info. I do invest regularly now, but I'm just sitting on everything for growth. No realized gains.

If you haven't sold anything at all you're probably fine with TurboTax. It was when I started moving investments around that they needed a 1099-B and wanted to charge more. I'd still recommend FreeTaxUSA just to get established and make it easier on you in the future (if you don't mind paying $15 to file state)
