I don't think it was giving much of a boost to the local area as of late. Similar festivals throughout the south took its toll on the out of staters that were coming in for it in the first few years.

Heard some horrid song "break up in a small town " on the radio as I was flipping stations the other day, I honestly thought there was no way this piece of shite was playing on a country station

Like I said this past time, the attendees don't even give a shite about music. Ask them why they're there and they tell you "friends, hanging out, drinking, having fun, etc.", they're there for anything BUT music. Anybody who gets excited about Luke Bryan doesn't know nor care about music.
