Tech isn't that bad of a team. This week against North Texas will be a test for them, but for a non-P5 conference team, they are not as much of a pushover as people assume.
With that said, when it comes to LSU playing out of conference games against lesser opponents, you can't really pay attention to the the result of the game (unless they don't win). They play down to their opponent in those situations.
