Yep. Love where I live. Got a new house going up and it’s very quiet In my area. Near where I work. Exactly what I want.

I’ve never said either of those. Rioting and looting is distracting from the actual message. I’ve posted about that plenty. I only talk about where I live if it’s relevant to the conversation for anecdotal info.

Sweet melt though. Guess I touched a nerve with my opinions?

what little rioting is going on isn’t the protesters.

No, you are clearly fricking retarded. There is a shite ton of rioting and looting. And, I believe, most Americans have heard enough and have had enough of the justifications for both the protesters and the rioting. When the protesters honor victims of crimes like the 13 shot at a funeral in Bogalusa or the 5 shot on Mother’s Day (all black on black), or the 2 shot in Donaldsonville then Ill take the cause for protest seriously.

Down playing the rioting and looting is what my problem is. I don’t have any problem with normal protesting.

This is an ironic statement, as the media and liberals are the one pressing the narrative that these protest are always peaceful with only a few people being violent. Your essentially just saying word for word what CNN says everyday.

It isn’t a narrative. Outside of a few cities, they are peaceful across the country.

quote:

As of today, over 360 businesses in the Twin City area have either been looted, damaged, or burned to the ground. But you know, there is only a handful of those bad rioters within the protest that are causing that much damage to that many businesses.

And that’s horrible, but you don’t think this is by design so people like you and others here cast a big net and call the entire movement a violent group of thugs? I’ve talked about this plenty on here, so I don’t know why people have to ignore that.

I’m comparing a stay at home order to a curfew.

I think the reason for each should be part of the conversation.

If you wanna be totally honest. But I understand how "gotcha" attempts work.

I’m not downplaying it and never have. Rioters deserve whatever they get. They were horrible over the weekend, but that doesn’t seem to be the case the last couple days. I’ve been watching these live-streams everyday.

I’m separating it from the protests because they should be. Atlanta had black marchers throwing people out of stores they were looting. New York had people screaming at looters too. They know the message is getting obfuscated by these idiots.

The staunch liberty or death people on here should be 100% against any curfew. But they will hand over a bit of that liberty because they agree with it. Funny.

Looting and rioting are crimes and people should be arrested for it, so you should be saying that the rights of all people shouldn't be curtailed because of those people. You guys are off narrative a bit here.

Do you fly?

You protest taking off your shoes? Illegal search right?

We are forced to do things as a society because part of that society screws it up for the rest of us.

Sure. No problem.

One group wanted normal life (haircuts), the other wanted normal life (exercising constitutional rights).

Yep completely different.

Yeah except the first time we were allowed to go get a burger at Chili’s after the quarantine we didn’t knock out the windows and steal margaritas when we were finished

Lol. You’re literally just quoting what all the big media groups are saying. It’s like you turn on the major networks and just right down their talking points as your own. “Protest are peaceful until the police force them otherwise”, “Rioters are only a handful of protestors”. And now Twitter is claiming white supremacist are the ones behind the Antifa twitter account? Stop for a second and think who is really trying to control the narrative right now.

I can see how you would think otherwise only listening to big media, but I form my opinions from what I’ve seen on the live streams every night. And no, it’s not a peaceful protest when you tell cops you’re going to beat their shite in while people in the back of the group throw bricks and water bottles at them while others are breaking car windows as they walk to group protesting.

You do not have the "right to fly" That is a privilege.

You do have the right to protest.
You do not have the right to break the law.
