I get the idea this person is tired of their friends trying to "fix them up". They may be happy with their life at this time.

I have seen so many people act as if there is something wrong with a person if they are not married/living with someone that they make it their mission to play matchmaker.

Yeah, I was under the impression that solo meant unaccompanied by child, not unaccompanied by date.
