Love Perlis. Over the last few birthdays and Christmases my parents gave me like $700 in gift cards. I needed a major wardrobe overhaul (not like suits, sport coats, or dress shirts), but I was excited to not have to spend money. I almost had a heart attack when the bill was like $1200 for 2 pair of dress pants, 3 polo shirts, a belt, and 2 pair of shorts. But damn do I look good.

This! I've bought my last three suits from the Perlis on Jefferson in Baton Rouge. They are fantastic.

I like their polos, but have found that the sizing is inconsistent

Haven't bought one in a while, but the last one was too snug in the shoulders.

I hear that Baby Gap has much more consistency.

I feel like I'm being watched when I go in there. Granted that's only been twice. Have a crawfish sweatshirt and southern tide polo from there.

I wear a medium usually and I'm 5'10 160. I'm also young, so I have that going for me, which is nice.

ive always stereotyped people who wear perlis as people who would drunkenly beat an old homeless man to death in new orleans

Sounds like just the shirt I'm looking for.

Also, I thought polyester died with Disco. Do not understand the attraction to it. Under Armor resurrected but it is plainly uncomfortable vs. 100% cotton and it emits the odor of a wet dog when worn in the heat.

They recently did an overhaul on their regular polos and the new ones are supposedly lighter and have a bit of stretch in them. I have several of their striped performance polos and love them.

TFM lost its luster I think. Haven’t looked at that site in years probably.

Just think it ran its course.

Perlis' mediums are like a normal large. I could never fit in a medium shirt but larges at Perlis are ridiculous.

Wish they had slim fit shirts.......

Love the Prytania store. The BR store has never found its groove - - namely they don't have enough inventory.

In BR, go see Frank McLavy.
