The science can’t cash the checks that the activists keep writing. The climate is a non-stationary process, meaning the mean and variance of the process aren’t stable. Comparisons with historical averages are almost meaningless. It also makes predictions very difficult, which we’ve seen in the IPCC models.
Using climate science to mandate policy is like using CAPM to mandate asset prices. It’s not even wrong.

I have trouble taking it seriously, because they've been caught lying, just like the Covid people were lying.

Because Science got involved with politics and the money that comes with it. There is real science behind it, but it’s hard to tell whats real and not because of all the lies that came with the politicalization.
Politics or not, the Climate models are garbage. There are hundreds of PhDs that should forever be excluded from academic research because of their “work”.

We’re still in a cool phase, had a genuine ice age recently. Planet tends to warm up after those
Yep.
The mini-ice age just ended at the end of the 80's/early 90's, and that went on for about 350 years..

The same people who sky scream about the climate are the same ones still getting covid shots and wearing masks in 2025. Figure it out

The climate sims are some known factors wrapped up in a bunch of guestimates that are riddled with unknowns and the whole thing is hopelessly contaminated with rancid ideology.

When they start telling you an essential part of life CO2 is deadly to the planet....
The geologic record consistently shows that spikes in CO2 concentration is deadly for almost all advanced life.

Thoughts on climate science?
Another case was when they changed a number because it didn't come out the way expected.
Plus it is using computer models. ... yeah, that's right, MODELS.
And I'm still waiting on the promised ice age. If the science was wrong then how does anyone expect us to think it is correct now?
Oh, and let's not forget that their spokesman was a mentally deficient 16 year old.

Are we denying that climate change is happening at all or just denying that it’s man made?
Climate always changes and it’s not because of man.

So far no other lifeform on earth has dug up carbon deposits bound for the mantle and re-released into the atmosphere. I am not sure how you can confidently make a comparison to the geologic past.

Well, THAT would be difficult to read and understand by us unwashed types. I wonder if asteroid strikes and super volcanoes were taken into account?

And when people like John Kerry and Taylor Swift stop flying private. Until then, frick it.
This. Don’t own private jets, fleets of SUV’s to travel in, vacation homes that are heated and cooled year round, heated swimming pools that use more electricity that several homes, and live in a mansion while preaching to me about conservation and green living.
The climate changes. It always has… it will continue to do so.
Blatant hypocrisy is what has killed the interest in many people from the climate scare. When these climate grifters downsize to their 1000 sq ft cube and have one solar charged electric small car.. they can preach their message. Not when they put a couple solar panels on a 10,000 sq foot home and claim they are carbon neutral.

If the greenies and do-gooders actually gave a shite about Mother Gaia (they don't) they would have been demanding tariffs on Chinese and Indian imported products decades ago until their manufacturing plants were in line with our emissions standards. But, the green movement has absolutely nothing to do with saving the Earth. The only ones who buy that tripe are the useful idiot liberal white women and moderates on the PT.

God created the Earth and all its wonders and features. The people will never have any influence on its weather, ocean depths, cloud formations or mountain ranges.
Only fools, idiots and Democrats think they can change society, environment, weather or the opinions of the masses, with their dumb arse comments.
Let them have their way. it keeps the rest of us entertained, and reminded of how phucking stupid they really are.
