I want to get one but I'm super nervous about this procedure. Is it painful, stressful, etc? Just something bothers me about burning my nut tube.

For me, it was a piece of cake and one of the best decisions I've ever made. Procedure was easy and painless (Valium before, local during), recovery was pretty easy (just make sure the kids you do have don't try to jump into your lap while you lay on the couch).

Just don't rush the recovery. You'll feel fine before you are. and buy a scrotal support, you'll want it.

Overall, very easy.

How many of you who got the vasectomy actually went back for the sperm count post op? I had a buddy knock up his bride because somehow nature found a way and his procedure was a failure.

How long after the procedure? If it was relatively soon after the procedure, then he probably just didn't follow doctor's orders.

They take out the magazine, but there are still bullets in the chamber. You have to clear them out and get the all clear from the Dr before firing again.

Agree. The hardest part for me was walking in the door and going through with it. I mean, it is elective surgery on your most prized parts. But the Valium before eased that anxiety. After that, I bindged the first three seasons of Breaking Bad over the course of three days and many more pain killers.

I've heard that you have increased loads and lose the sensation of release. Is this true in your experience?

No and no.

Honestly feel no different.

I asked my Dr a ton of questions and basically you are exactly the same. You're still producing sperm and testosterone, you just aren't expelling it. So it gets re-absorbed.

Sex is better now. Feels exactly the same as before and no stress about a possible pregnancy.

Trust me, everything you've heard about side effects are rumors (unless you have a rare complication). The only result from my surgery is I no longer can get my wife pregnant. Sex feels just as good as before, I get it more often because we don't have to stress about another kid, my testosterone levels haven't changed, etc.

Got my nuts cut at 11am on a Friday last year. I followed the doctors orders and did not get off of the couch Friday evening unless I had to pee. I was up and going around noon on Saturday and back at the gym on Wednesday. He put metal clips on my tubes so I didnt have to experience the "burning smell".

Wear compression underwear for about a week, that shite works wonders.

I cant tell you how much it has ramped up my sex life. No woman enjoys her mans having to pull out. Being able to shoot the club up PLUS some peptide action...shheeeiiiitt

I heard that if you get a vasectomy, you have to change the gender on all your legal documents to female (or transgender).

Do it for masters weekend. had mine the first day of March madness. Btw no one tells you the shots they give you feels like a 5 year old punching u in the balls. My doctors prescription was to have sex a lot in a short period of time and to sit on the couch and drink whiskey for 2 days.
