I hate this weather and it feels nothing whatsoever about Christmas or the holidays. La. sucks arse.

I had enough of ice storms and surprise 2ft "dustings" of snow and moved south 
And that was just ky winter, not real northern winter. Sleet and wintery mix for days on end are not good for my mental state.

If all I did was fish, hunt, and eat, I would agree. Unfortunately, I have to get up and drive to and from work everyday. And I like to party. Man, I can't hardly find any place to party.
We do have the nicest beaches though, and most people don't realize this. Grand Isle beaches >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gulf Shores.

Many La. residents go there out of necessity, only because Grand Isle is overbooked and there's no place to stay. It's nice to have back up spots we can hop to in inferior states, like MS and AL.

Miami never gets cold, but agree with OP. frick it is hot as hell here. Supposed to be the pleasant time of the year here with temps in the 70s. Snowbirds are probably melting.
