That’s the thing that most don’t understand living up north like I did in Michigan. Yes the winters can be harsh, but they are prepared for it. And the spring is great as are the summers. In mid July the temp may hit 85 but it feels like 85. And as

My ideal weather would be like some parts of Oregon where it stays between 35-85 pretty much all year on average. If not that, 4 very distinct seasons.

No the frick it doesn’t.

It’s horrible outside.

There shouldn’t be highs in the 50s past February

Bring on the 95 degrees days

I’d move
Up to the northwest in a heartbeat. Wash, eastern Oregon or Idaho or Montana. Just for the fresh crisp air.

This could possibly mean we’re in for a mild summer down here in SE LA. I sure hope so. I’m enjoying today very much.

It has no bearing on the Summer.

It has, however, managed to kill a whole bunch of shite with temps in the 20s and getting multiple killing freezes after the early start to Spring.

Couldn't disagree more. After weeks in the high 70s low 80s this weather is an abomination. Hate it with every fiber if my being.

I think parts of the PNW have perfect weather (for me at least). Neither of the extremes but still have pretty distinct seasons. I'd love summer days with low humidity and 81 degrees.

Weather has been beautiful here the past 3 days but gearing up for 3 more days of rain Mon, Tues, Wed.

Should be about it until the end of the year though.

I wouldn't want to live in Northern Minnesota or anything either but I'd prefer not to deal with our swamp arse summers too. If given the choice, I'd prefer it a little on the cooler side to hot and humid. I'm Scandinavian and English though. Maybe it's in my blood

Same, with about a half of German too.

I'm the same way. San Diego's weather is perfect for me. Most of the year is high in the low 70s. It gets up to the 80s towards the end of August and September. Then, winters here are very mild. This year has probably been the worst winter since I've moved here and the lowest the high has been was low to mid-50s, iirc.
