I believe that's Ben Franklin to the right of George Washington, which makes this so called "meme" one of the most idiotic things I've seen in my short 20 years. Franklin was an abolitionist and served as President of the Pennsylvania Society for Promoting the Abolition of Slavery. Our problem with this country has nothing to do with color or our past. Our problem is stupidity, and it's spreading.....quickly.

"Slavery" as the media deems is no different than the current mexicano influx of workers.
Why do (did) we have them ?
Cheap labor, basically uneducated, they are were trying to better themselves
Both made their choice and both were free to gain other employment, a better different lifestyle.
Sure some of the "slaves" were tied to a chain and could not leave, but they were very few. Most were always "free" but that was a life they choose to better themselves, un educated employment.
Did we create slavery ? Hell no, the blacks that controlled and shipped them here from S Africa did
