Can you link me to a country that has no violent deaths, domestic terrorism, or mass causality events?

Easily the most retarded reply in this thread.

I'm not sure. Every single other reply he's given in this thread gives that one a run for its money.

There are about 50+ other civilized countries that don’t fear their children will be shot up at school though.

Can you link me to one time anyone on this board argued anything close to this?

Yep. Kids no longer smoke do they?

If you fail to acknowledge the impact of sin taxes, education, and raising the price of cigarettes has had on smoking rates, then I don't know what to tell you.

You fear this? I've never once feared that and I live in America.

But you can’t even mention even potentially stricter background checks for semi automatic rifles because he has to protect himself from the small army that could hypothetically attempt to murder him.

The gun trade will become like the drug trade. There are people hoarding AR parts right now. 3D printing will help quite a bit as well.

Is marijuana easier or more difficult to get in Colorado now that it's legal?

There's no way a city can afford the amount of police officers it would take to adequately guard a school with 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 students.

Seeing as that is literally the purpose of the second amendment, you're correct. Also, I have no problem stricter background checks in theory. Specifically what are you proposing we make stricter?

If you got rid of the black market? For the underaged? Harder. However, this is not a good comparison because the dealers from already created black market were already set up.

Its always easier to get stuff on the black market. Go to any high school and see what's harder to get, liquor or weed. I knew where I could get weed without a problem since I was 14. I had a hard time getting alcohol all the way up to almost being 21.

Depending on which constitutional interpretation theory you subscribe to (I suspect you're not exactly certain what that means), "arms" within the meaning of the second amendment includes arms necessary to fight an oppressive government.

So in that case a rocket launcher would be great. Remember the Supreme Court case with the tazer? Same idea.

So you have no ability to grasp relative occurrence rates, huh?

You're ridiculous, and I hope for your sake you're doing this on purpose.

Man you really love your little self righteous nonsense comments you preface most of your posts with. Do they make you feel smart? Do you think it somehow makes you smarter to ask a random irrelevant and unsubstantiated question and then answer it?

Not for the underaged. For those who are within the law to legally purchase it now.

And you don't even need to respond because I've made my point and hopefully you're able to grasp it.

(FYI, a black market gun trade already exists too).

Pretty sure all of our schools in Lafayette have this. At least the high schools

After a decent amount of back and forth with you, yes, I do feel pretty smart...Relatively speaking, though I'm not sure you'll get that reference since you've shown you're unable to see understand the difference between "many" and "few" murders and mass shootings in the US vs other countries...because, as you said, no country has zero so any difference is meaningless.

You said guns would be readily available and cheap on the black market if they were theoretically banned.

I provided the example of marijuana in colorado, and the ease of one to obtain it when it was illegal, and now when it's legal.

As one would expect, it's easier to get now that it's legal. One could also deduce (clearly you are not the one), that if guns were illegal they would be more difficult to obtain than they are now, even with the existence of a black market.

I can't believe I had to explain that example.
