My thing is I like to flip around through multiple shows and sports. Cable/satellite works just fine for me.

Yeah, me too. But I'm spending over $300 for cable and internet. And I only get 2 HBO channels, and nothing other premium, and no porn stuff. They're ripping me off big time.

Those bastards.

It's so pretty outside. Want me to describe in detail how my margarita taste while sitting on my patio by the pool?

Skil, I basically whipped his @ss and ran him off from Antioch Park. What more can I do?

Who is your provider? I will always call and tell them I'm cancelling and they will send me to retention and try to keep me by giving me a good promotional rate. Then when it's almost up, I do the same thing all over again. It's always worked.

i kinda don't think you should do it. honestly my set up is pretty complicated and non-traditional. i think you should look into a lower tier channel line up first.

I do that, and they knock it down, then within a year, it's crept back up and over the original amount. I'm too lazy to constantly call them, which is what it takes. And it's Cox. I hate them.

Same. I've been saying the past several months I was gonna call and get them to lower my rate. Then I think of all the time I'm gonna spend on the phone pissed off and I put it off for another day.

You really are getting ripped though...I pay about $200 now for similar to what you have...plus a landline

Come on, Fes. It's once a year and worth it to save the monies. AT&T Uverse would email me when it was getting close for my promotion to be over, then I would call and be like "yeah, so I got this email, this price isn't gonna work for me, I'm going back to Cox, I got this type of deal, blah blah blah." I'm very polite though and they always work a deal in for me. I was getting all the premium channels like the 450+ with the sports package, HD, DVR Service blah blah blah and one of the higher tiers of internet for about $127 a month.

I've never been to Antioch Park.

I don't even live in BR anymore, who are you again?

I think I agree. I think maybe I'll call, be very angry (which I am), and tell them that what I've been paying is highway robbery. I need to get it down to no more than $175/month, including internet, but tell them they can shut off the phone, and take away any premium channels except for the sports tier, and Palladia, because I love that sh*t.

(P.S. - my current internet speed is not the highest, and I'm paying $74.99/month for that)
