This thread has conflicting info. My kid has friends over for a birthday party and they want a fire in the fire pit. I've googled and I can't find any clear answers.

I emailed BRFD this morning.

"In the Parish of East Baton Rouge we have a constant burn ban. This does not change anything in our Parish. Outdoor fire pits and fire places are acceptable. The ban is basically for any non-contained fire. I hope this helps answer your question. Thank you."
