Must be in a nice neighborhood. Otherwise, there are plenty of neighborhoods around the country that 3 murders in 10 days is the norm.

Not the point.

Huge difference between murders of people who know each other and serial killings of random people.

Not to get technical, but 3 victims in 10 days would classify the perp as a Spree Killer rather than a Serial Killer, especially if these are his first three.

A mass killer kills multiple people in a single event.

A spree killer kills multiple people in different locations within a relatively tight time frame.

A serial killer kills multiple people people in different locations over a longer time frame.

Yeah, not all spree killers are serial killers, but some are.

There have been serial killers who did spree before going quiet for a while.

I asked some friends that live in Tampa about the neighborhood. They said it is a mixed demographic, with mostly working people.

The video of the guy they want to speak with was taken with a standard potato but anyone who knows the guy would recognize him. Local news keep saying "Recognize he, or she." It is clearly a male.

True.

There are definitely serial killers that also spree killed, Bundy and Pickton are two good examples.

My way of thinking though, is that anyone that meets the definition of a serial killer that has some spree killing is still to be classified as a serial killer.

A spree killer to me is someone that hasn’t killed before and comes out of the gate hot with multiple kills in quick succession like this guy if it’s one person.

If this is a spree killer, he’s gonna get caught pretty quickly, especially if he is using a gun.
