That works if you have someone else's log in info

My dad and brother have ESPN.
However, if I didn't have that, then I would just go watch LSU games at a sports bar.
Still cheaper than cable.

have not missed Cox cable TV at all.
If you weren't bumming another paying cable subscribers login info you would be missing it.

See my response above.
Before using dad's log on, I'd just go to a sports bar.
Way cheaper!

It's never cheaper for me to go a bar than cable. Plus I'm married with young kids so it's not really an option

that or you can stream any channel, anytime you want, if you know where to look
especially ESPN, they stream that channel all over the internet

Someone on the tech board also mentioned a crawler about the CW going away. WTF is Cox doing?

Can anyone advise if ATT Uverse is a better option than Cox for TV?
I need to drop Cox, but not real tech savvy so not sure I want to cut the cord completely.

I heard from a guy who works for UPS that the ATT boxes are the most common UPS shipments and I'm talking about returns to ATT.
I've heard the service is terrible but I don't have personal experience.

Wtf kind of service do you have? That seems crazy.
It's a bundle with phone and internet. I also have all of the premium channels. I have to get the bill down though. I can't deal with it anymore.

I've always had really crappy, cheap cable, but we swapped to DISH a couple of months ago. Couldn't be happier.
They had a 2 year locked in 50 bucks a month promo and we got it. That's with a 2 year commitment. Mine is actually 64 plus tax because I got a hopper (included) and two Joeys ($7 each for additional TV's).
They now are offering 3 years locked in for 50 bucks and only a 2 year commitment. Oh, that's their top 150 channels, I think.

I have cox bundle, with phone and internet. And it's not the top of the line. Not all movie channels.
I pay over $300/month, and been a customer for 18 years.

So that's what they mean when they tell me that I'm getting a deal

Yep. They treat new customers MUCH better than people like me. They believe I'm not going anywhere, so they screw me.

Stealing would be cheaper than cable.

And now, all of a sudden, my picture quality went down. They've sent out 7 techs, all with some BS, and can't get good signal to my TV. Last one finally said that the cable in my walls is antiquated. I asked why did I get great pic before, and suddenly it went out. No response.
Then they tell me they can't mess with cable in my wall and to call electrician. Now, they won't answer my phone calls.
And I cut a check for $300 every month.
