Oh yeah, a couple $.39 soft shell tacos, $.59 cinnamon twists, and a couple chilitos, that’s a win.
The original chilitos are easily the best thing Taco Bell ever created.

No police cams. No cellular recording devices. Lack of evidence.

There's almost no evidence of any of the dumb shite we did growing up. I'm thankful for it

Isn’t this what Ponch drove in CHiPS? Lots of reruns of that in the ‘80s!!!
I remember watching CHiPS. But most of the episodes aired in 70s. I’m not sure how far into the 80s ChiPS made it. But I don’t think it was far, like maybe 81 or 82?

Not sure - just saw the reruns when I was a kid in the late 80s

It still is thanks to Smokey and the Bandit
and that's the only thing unfortunately. It came with 310 HP
220HP with the rather rare Pontiac 400 in '78.
We wish we had cars with 310HP in the 80's. Hell, the Vette was 245.

The 307 was a better option. I graduated high school in ‘83. Most everyone had a G body car. Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Cutlass, or Regal.

We had a maroon one with the white top. Totaled it smoking a deer on the way up north.

Miami Vice was such a game changer as far as TV crime drama shows were concerned. Before Miami Vice crime drama was seen as shows for moms & dads. Shows like Columbo, Rockford Files, etc. kids would watch them but usually it was because at that time most homes had one TV and dad had the final say in what the family was going to watch.
Miami Vice thought was a smash and appealed to a younger audience. Still one of the coolest shows to ever air on network TV.

All true. It was a cultural phenomenon, really a once in a lifetime program. My favorite tv show ever.

If you think about it, a lot of the overall “80s style” that most people associate with the decade originated with Miami Vice.

The car looked so good and it was a GM product I just assumed it was a good engine but the tranny had to work so hard that it went out.

I drove an 81 GMC Sierra in high school. I loved that truck. Wish I'd kept it.

The white linen Armani suit over a t-shirt, no socks look that Sonny Crockett wore is what everyone immediately thinks of as '80s style. Tubbs's suits were always on point also.
