My company has posted me here to work while Houston floods. Basically, where are the happening spots? College bars and places to catch the fight tomorrow.

I hope you're at the new Courtyard.

Make the annoying loop around and treat yourself to an apple pie or shake at the Whataburger. That's what I did.

Did you piss your boss off? They should have at least sent you to Shreveport.

Oh boy. My daughter is at Tech. They have a lot of coffee and hang out a whole bunch. I'm not sure there is anything to do there.

If it were me I'd go to one of the Bossier casinos and watch the fight

There is literally nothing. Stayed there once while working on a site near Ruston. We drove to Bossier City for anything.

There's absolutely nothing to do, but if you are looking for college aged people go to ponchatoulas at night. It's a restaurant, but college kids drink there at night. Whatever you do, do not go to The Revelry (formerly Rabbs). You may be the only one there or you may be with a Grambling crowd or 2% chance there's actually people there.

As far as the fight tomorrow, you may have to go to Monroe/West Monroe. I don't know if anywhere in Ruston would have it considering they don't have a BWW or the such.

Ride out to Gibsland one afternoon and see where Bonnie & Clyde got gunned down.

Call Bert Jones - maybe y'all can throw a ball around for a while.
Or bring some hiking shoes and climb Mt. Driskill.

I'm not necessarily recommending it, but suicide is an option.

The Dawghouse. Downtown used to have some good restaurants.

LOL on people bashing Ruston. Go to Ponchatulas get the catfish special with onion rings , drink some beer and then walk over to the Sundown when you're done. For the fight I bet The Dog house would have it on. There really isn't that much to do there if you're over 26 but Ruston has good people and is a great place to raise a family.
