arse paddling and face slaps by teachers when I was elementary and high school.
Anyone fighting at HS PE was put in a room with a padded floor, handed boxing gloves, and told to get in there with the other guy and finish it off.
If you did stupid shite at school one punishment was to spend the rest of the day picking up trash, scraping gum off floors, cleaning toilets, and mopping floors.
