I agree Fraser is pretty insufferable. I like the older guy who won it two years ago.
That being said if I was that good at what I do and on national TV and sponsored and shite I'd act an arse too.

Speaking of what people say about Crossfit being a cult.
Crossfit has a lockerroom feel to it. The core members are there for the long term, and you become friends with that group and challenge each other daily. Local, regional and national events has an us vs them feel, whether you are competing individually or with a small team. Once people get out of HS/College, it's a way get back to the things you miss from being part of a team.
Sure, the Elite Women looked jacked as frick during competition, but outside of it, they just look very fit, and they are usually in booty shorts or stuff similar to yoga pants all the time.

The major positive about crosscut is that it's got more people doing barbell exercises. The negative is that these fools are doing power clean and jerks for speed. I was going to a chiropractor who was also a cross fitter. He assured me that he gets plenty of his classmates in the office.
I started the Starting Strength linear progression and now the Texas Method because I watched a crossfit competition. I lift with control and technique and I stay injury free. I also have sensible programming which crossfit seems to lack.

I used to date a girl that won regionals. Yea during the competition she was manly as shite looking. But normally she was hot as hell, and was a fricking champ in the sack.
Of course she was bat shite crazy and was just looking for someone to take care of her.
