Cats aren’t pets, they are natural killers. I’ve only had one outside cat that has survived and she is bad-arse and almost 15 years old still murdering as much as she can. I’ve never been a cat person, but she has grown on me and follows me everywhere and I’m the only person she will will get close to. Weird how that happened.

One thing that was worse, in my opinion, was the Holocaust

New grad student arrived in the city with a young puppy. Over Friday night drinks, she got s**t faced and admitted the new puppy was to replace her dog who liked to chase balls. She'd taken the dog to the golf range, and dog was unleashed. Third ball she hit, dog went running, and golf ball hit dog's head and killed him. (Not all dogs have thick skulls).

her paw was caught under the door.

My wife (no pics) did this once and I think she cried for three days afterwards. Scared the frick out of me when it happened but after I knew he was okay a few hours later I told my wife she was being ridiculous because the cat was fine.

a friend's wife accidentally killed their 18 year old dog a few weeks ago. The story is too tragic to share, but needless to say she's having a very hard time.

My dad had a school bus and when it was really cold the cats would climb up on the engine block. Caught one in the fan belt one morning when he started the bus.
