It’s cute how you pretend Trump, Fox ans the right didnt attack Obama during Ebola, H1n1, etc.

Trump was attacking him in 2009 over viruses? You sure about that?

Get real bro
We need those stadiums for sports. I say we put them in all of the convention centers and carnival cruise ships

That’s a 0.5% fatality rate almost solely because of old people who had healthy issues already getting sick. The typical flu is anywhere from 0.1% to 0.2%. So it’s 3 to 5 times as deadly as the flu... overall. I
With Covid19 or any of the strains of flu the fatality rate is hard to accurately calculate because many people that contract the flu or this virus recover without seeing a doctor, and the cases are never reported. My wife and I both had the flu in the last 20 years and never visited a Dr. There are likely many people in the US that have contracted corona virus, and recovered from the illness thinking it was just a cold of flu. Mathematical models are used to attempt to predict rate of infection, and resulting fatalities, but results are only as good as the model, and can be all over the place.

Globally, 80 percent of (H1N1)pdm09 virus-related deaths were estimated to have occurred in people younger than 65 years of age. This differs greatly from typical seasonal influenza epidemics, during which about 70 percent to 90 percent of deaths are estimated to occur in people 65 years and older.

The difference is in 2009 we didn’t have the media (which functions as the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party) stoking panic like is happening now.
