He was a democrat which to most ppl on this board probably means he could not have done anything honorable while he was a member of the senate.

Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient
President Pro-tempore of US Senate
Member of US Senate for 50 years

How many of us can match that resume?

The 442nd's exploits in Europe are well known. Lesser known is that a few Japanese-Americans served in the Pacific with the OSS LINK

How come Asians in America today don't complain about the Hardships their ancestors faced like African Americans do?

How about you go look up information on Japanese American internment camps in the United States during WWII and get back to us.
