Yall must be fat as frick.

Nobody in my house is really overweight. But having the heat on anything past about 67 is miserable. Something about the hot air. We generally only keep the ac at 71 during the summer.

The paper I worked for from 1984-2010 had a strict coat and tie dress code for the first fifteen years I worked there. Because of that, they kept the thermostat on 70 in the summer. One lady, who was always cold, would go out and sit in her car for five-ten minutes to get warm. This was in Dallas, and she did it on days when the temperature was over 100 degrees. I would have been wringing wet with sweat. During those summers, I had to keep an extra shirt in the car because I'd get sweaty going out to see customers. The craziest part about her being cold all the time was her being from Chicago.

Temps in the 60s are ideal for humans. Not hot, not cold.

Exactly. When I lived by myself, in a one bedroom condo, I kept the thermostat on 68 in the summer and 58 in the winter. I sleep better with more cover on the bed. In the three bedroom house I'm in now, I keep it on 74 in the summer, and it's on 66 now.

If it were just me, I can't ever imagine wanting my house to be warmer than 70 degrees.

Me either. 64-66 degrees is the ideal inside temp imo.

Females must be taught that the temperature has to be 68 max for a man's testicles to function properly.

ETA: It's science.
