the walking/running trail behind pennington at keneilworth and perkins

Anybody know about this spot?
What's the story with it? Is it maintained by the city? Pennington? It's an awesome trail, but it doesn't seem to be marked in any official capacity.

Pretty sure it's owned by Pennigton but people use it frequently.

wish I would have known about it before I moved away from Baton Rouge a couple months ago.

How long is it? How much pedestrian traffic is out there in the late afternoons?

There's also a very little known trail at very back of Perkins Road Park. Farthest back corner. It's surprisingly cool for a jog/walk. Penningtons property has signs not for public use but you can most certainly use the trail and path around Lake. You could get a nice workout using all 3 mentioned here for a 3-4 mile run.

prob so. But it's more accessible now with paved path going up to it.
